Michael New is an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama. He has served as a post-doctoral fellow at the Harvard-MIT data center and a lecturer at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. His research interests include limitations on government, tax revolts, welfare reform and campaign finance reform. He received his PhD in Political Science from Stanford University.
